Tip: Due to the high sensitivity of condenser mics, some of the sounds from the near field can be caught by the microphones (e.g. sound of keypress, touch sound when tilting, etc.). Therefore, using tripods or stabilizers when recording is highly recommended for keeping the phone out or interference.

Each 10mm cardioid high sensitivity condenser mic can pick up sound from a particular area which reduces the pickup of unwanted sounds remarkably, other than omnidirectional mics which capture audio in every direction.

We have defined 3 common-used audio modes for quick setup.
That is, you can choose the mode that most suitable for your environment and your recording purposes.
By processing different sound ranges diversely, RHK26 can provide an instant sound effect setup.
▶ Hi-Fi Record the original sound with no effect.
▶ Voice Record the sound by remaining the voice ranged from 500Hz to 2kHz and reducing both low-frequency sound and high-frequency sound.
▶ Music Record the sound by remaining the voice ranged from 500Hz to 2kHz and enhancing both low-frequency sound and high-frequency sound up to 6dB.
Why 500Hz - 2kHz?
Middle-frequency is between the 500Hz - 2kHz range, which is where you can naturally identify human speech. Sound in this range usually has a tinny or horn-like quality and is the most sensitive to human hearing. The pre-set audio modes keep this sound range stable and process other sound ranges differently for specific purposes.
Now, you have a new way to gain level adjustment!
Mic sensitivity adjustment is the breaking-through thing.
For proper gain level, we usually either keep a certain distance to the mic or adjust the gain level of applications.
Now, there is a third possibility - do it on the mic!
We have 5 pre-set levels of mic sensitivity that embedded in.
▶ 0dB level The sound will be recorded without acoustic attenuation.
▶ -6dB level The sound will be recorded with 6dB attenuation.
▶ -12dB level The sound will be recorded with 12dB attenuation.
▶ -24dB level The sound will be recorded with 24dB attenuation.
▶ -30dB level The sound will be recorded with 30dB attenuation.
